Case #1:

Name: Christin, 22, wants to lose 12 lbs in a month

“I am the type that drinking water causes me to gain weight. Even though I exercise regularly, eating at all causes me to gain weight so I choose this method.”

Breakfast can be a big meal. Eat the oatmeal mixed with half of water and half of milk and add some crushed nuts or a drop of honey. A section of banana, whole wheat cake plus a pear are also OK.

Morning tea: a piece of toast and a small spoonful of peanut jam

Lunch: must be full. Vegetable salad pizza, a carrot, an apple and vegetable or fruit

Do not eat anything after 2 pm. Drink a glass of low-fat milk or unsweetened soy milk at 10 to 11pm.

Principle of weight loss

The latest study shows that excessive carbohydrates will not be converted into fat. In addition, they will destroy the body weight regulatory function of the pituitary gland. By reducing the carbohydrates for a period of time, the destroyed body weight regulatory function of the pituitary gland will recover, thereby making it easier for people to keep the weight off.

Three to four hours after food intake is the period of satiety. Twelve to sixteen hours after satiety is the period of pre-fasting. Eighteen hours after satiety enters the period of fasting. During the period of satiety, mass insulin secretion will be caused due to hyperglycemia (resulting in accumulation of fat cells – obesity hormone). The sugar blood decreases in the pre-fasting so that as time goes by, the glucagon and epinephrine will produce more and more thin hormones, and better the effect of weight loss will be.

The method of eating nothing after 2pm is just utilizing the pre-fasting period to prolong the producing of thin hormone to achieve weight loss effects. Reducing carbohydrate intake will recover the destroyed body weight regulatory function of the pituitary gland so that the body will be not prone to weight gain.
