Healthy snacks

We all love to snack, but for some of us, choosing unhealthy snacks is the root cause of our weight gain. If you're on a diet, you don't have to cut out your snacking all together. Just be mindful to make healthier choices than you have in the past. Here are some examples of healthy snacks.

Almonds

Almonds are a good choice for snacking because the fat they contain is considered "good fat". At the same time, almonds are rich in protein and nutrition. The fat contained in almonds is necessary for health and is a high unsaturated fat, which is good to heart. Study found that eating 50 -100 grams of almonds per day (about 40 - 80 pieces of almonds) will not increase body weight. Almonds not only contain high protein, but lots of fiber, too. Fibers are beneficial to intestinal tissue and reduce the incidence risks of colorectal cancer, cholesterol and heart disease. The fibers contained in 20 - 25 pieces of almonds equal to those contained in an orange or an apple. So almonds are a great snacking option.

Fruits

Fruits are a great healthy choice to integrate into your diet. You can choose fresh fruit, dry fruits or freshly squeezed fruit juices. However raisins, bananas, pineapple and mango contain large amounts of sugar and should be eaten in moderation. Kiwi is rich in fiber and Vitamin C, both of which help the body break down fat. Lemon can eliminate edema and promote the metabolism of subcutaneous fat. You can make lemonade out of it for the same results. Mix the lemon juice with cold water. A little sugar or honey can be added to sweeten the taste.

 

 

Salads

Salads are very healthy - the more vegetables, the better. In fact, half of the foods you eat in a day should be vegetables. Among vegetables, cucumber and wax gourd are good for weight loss. Cucumbers contain propanoldiacid, which helps inhibit the conversion of carbohydrates into fat in the body. The gourd can get rid of excessive body fat. Regular intake might help weight loss. Radishes and leeks are good choices, too. The mustard oil which is a spicy ingredient contained in radish can promote the metabolism of fat and reduce fat accumulation in the body. As a food rich in fibers, the leek is catharsis and reduces time of food stays in the intestine so as to reduce the intestinal absorption of fat, which helps you lose weight. Third is mustard. It helps remove body fat.
