UK scientists found that the obesity is caused by excessive food consumption and the direct reason for obese people eating too much is the feeling of hunger. It turned out that the cause of this is a "ventromedial hypothalamus". It adjusts the ingestion system through a combination of the nervous system and body fluids. When people eat, the nutrients in the blood increase and trigger a feeling of fullness. For obese people, their nutrients from foods are quickly converted into fat, so the nutrient levels in the blood will be lower. This signal of fewer nutrients will be transferred to ventromedial hypothalamus (the satiety center) to form a fake feeling of hunger. Then the people falsely believe they are hungry and need to eat more.
